Which knot do you prefer?

It's almost that time for the big Presidential elections, paper or plastic? I love the feeling oh knowing that I am allowed to vote for this guy or that guy. But which one do I pick? I haven't a clue. When I am standing in line at my local precinct my mind starts to wander, I realize I am no longer at the precinct but standing in line on the gallows. One by one we tell the older lady at the table our name, she hands us a rope and tells us to wait for our turn. I wait holding my rope trying to make sense of why they are doing this, I can only assume it is amusing to them. Two more in front of me and then it will be my turn, which knot do I want? I have the option of the hangman's knot or the always quick and simple slip knot. Which do I choose? Why do I have to choose? It then dawns on me, no matter which knot I pick it is still going to be slipped over my neck resulting in my common carotid artery being closed off and most likely breaking my neck. Here we go I'm up I place the rope on the table thinking that if I don't pick either knot I may get to stick it to the man one last time. But being that it will the last decision I will get to make I might as well take it and feel that sense of choice one last time. I chose paper. God Bless America.
